An institution: emblematic establishment in Pyla-sur-Mer

Residence Maminotte is an institution in Pyla-sur-mer. It was opened in 1966 as the Maminotte hotel, an annex to the “La Maloune” hotel.

For more than half a century, this establishment was run with passion and love by a couple from the Arcachon Basin. They have done everything possible to make this address an institution in Pyla-sur-Mer. Maminotte was then the nickname of the owner's beloved grandmother.

In 2010, a major renovation is being organized. The rooms are transformed into an apartment hotel with five apartments and three studios. 

In 2022, new lovers of the region with family roots in Arcachon decide to take up the torch and continue to perpetuate the values of hospitality and familytransmitted by their predecessors.

It was obvious to keep the name and spirit of this institution because the nickname of the new owner's beloved grandmother, who also lived in Arcachon, was Maminette.

It is in the same state of mind that the new owners wish to offer their vacationers an unforgettable stay, in this haven of peace, in the middle of nature and a stone's throw from the beach.
